Utah Department of Workforce Services (Cache County office)

Description: Offers a wide range of financial support options—cash assistance, SNAP/food stamps, Medicaid, child care subsidies, and employment help. Programs include General Assistance (for adults without dependents), Family Employment Program, and homeless prevention.

Bear River Association of Governments (BRAG)

Description: Provides emergency rental and utility assistance (HEAT), homelessness prevention, and hotel vouchers. Also offers a First-Time Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance program: up to $3,000 in no-interest deferred loans for qualified households. 
 

Logan City Housing Assistance Programs

Description: Includes programs like Home Rehabilitation Assistance (covering repair costs for safety issues) and the “Welcome Home – Own in Logan” down payment grant—up to $7,500 (combining base and matched funds) for first-time homebuyers within Logan city limits. 
 

Utah Community Action (UCA) – Cache County

Description: Offers HEAT utility assistance, emergency food and nutrition aid, housing case management, weatherization, workforce development, and Head Start preschool support. Services target low-income individuals and families. 
 

Utah State University – Housing & Financial Counseling (HUD‑approved)

Intermountain Health Financial Assistance

Description: If you’ve received care at an Intermountain Health facility (e.g., Logan Regional), you may qualify for sliding-scale assistance—full or partial coverage—for medical bills based on income and family size (up to 500% FPL).
